JOB DESCRIPTION

Install, service parts of motorcycle/small engine.  Servicing includes checking, inspecting, cleaning and overhauling mechanical and electrical parts, components, assemblies and sub-assemblies of motorcycle/small engine.

 ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Can communicate both oral and written; physically and mentally fit; with good moral character; and can perform basic mathematical computation.

JOB OPPORTUNITIES

Upon completion of the course, trainees/students maybe employed as:

  • Motorcycle mechanic
  • Small engine mechanic

EVIDENCES

Upon completion of the Course, the trainee/student must be able to:

  • perform preventive maintenance on motorcycle mechanical and electrical systems
  •  service small engine system and components.

 NATIONAL ASSESSMENT

To attain the National Qualification of MOTORCYCLE/SMALL ENGINE SERVICING NC II , the candidate must demonstrate competence in all the units. Successful candidates shall be awarded a National Certificate signed by the TESDA Director General.
