JOB DESCRIPTIONWeld alloy steel plates components as specified by layout, blueprints, diagrams, work order, welding procedure or oral instructions using SMAW welding equipment. ENTRY REQUIREMENTSMust have completed training in SMAW NC II or a holder of SMAW NC II; can communicate either oral and written; physically and mentally fit; with good moral character; and can perform basic mathematical computation. |

EVIDENCESUpon completion of the Course, the trainee/student must be able to weld alloy steel plates components as specified by layout, blueprints, diagrams, work order, welding procedure or oral instructions using SMAW welding equipment. NATIONAL ASSESSMENTTo attain the National Qualification SHIELDED METAL WELDING ARC NC III, the candidate must demonstrate competence in all the units of competency. Successful candidates shall be awarded a National Certificate signed by the TESDA Director General. |
